Ball Type Flush Bottom Valve
Flow-Tek Flush Bottom Tank Valves are designed for smooth, reliable discharge of materials from processing tanks. Their innovative design fully seals the outlet nozzle at the vessel wall, preventing solids from building up or solidifying in the nozzle neck. This ensures uninterrupted flow, avoids blockages, and eliminates the retention of unreacted material, delivering efficient, hassle-free tank emptying every time.
Flush Bottom Tank Valves feature a modified Y-type body with an angle-style design, positioning the stem in the vertical branch for precise operation. The seat and disc assembly mirrors a globe valve, with durable metal-to-metal seating for reliable sealing. Depending on the application, the disc can lift from the seat to open into the vessel or pull down from the seat to open into the valve, allowing controlled, efficient, and consistent material discharge.
Flow-Tek Flush Bottom Valves are built to simplify tank discharge and handle challenging media with ease. Designed to meet international standards, they provide reliable performance, minimal maintenance, and smooth, uninterrupted flow.
Available Designs for Flush Bottom Valves
- Y-Type Flush Bottom Valve – Standard design for complete drainage of liquids and slurries.
- Teflon-Lined Flush Bottom Valve (PFA, FEP) – Protects against corrosion and chemical attack for aggressive media.
- Y-Type Jacketed Flush Bottom Valve – Keeps viscous or temperature-sensitive materials at optimal flow conditions.
- Ball-Type Flush Bottom Valve – Available in jacketed and non-jacketed versions for flexible process integration.
