Gas Blanketing Valve
The Flow-Tek FT-LPRV Gas Back Pressure Regulator is specifically designed for accurate low-pressure gas regulation. The Mark 508 operates in conjunction with a low-pressure tank blanketing system to maintain stable tank pressure and ensure effective protection.
Applicable Standards
- Design Standard: As per manufacturer’s standard
- Face-to-Face Dimension: As per manufacturer’s standard
- End Connections: Flanged ends conforming to ANSI, DIN, BS, JIS, IS etc
- Testing Standard: API 598 / ANSI FCI 70-2-2006 (Control Valve Leakage Standard)
The LPRV is designed to vent excess gas from storage tanks, preventing blanketing pressure from rising to levels that could cause tank damage. At the same time, it maintains a small, continuous flow to ensure the gas blanket remains fresh and effective.During tank filling operations, the valve automatically opens to release gas as the vapor space decreases. For correct sizing, the maximum filling rate should be determined so the regulator can relieve the required gas volume while maintaining the desired blanketing pressure. The Mark 508 is also suitable for a wide range of low back-pressure gas regulation applications.
Features
- 360° rotational body design allows flexible installation and in-line repositioning (3/4" to 8")
