Gas Safety Valve
The Flow-Tek Series FT-500 Relief Valves are designed for steam service applications in accordance with ASME Section VIII. These valves come standard with an open-cap design and a conventional lifting lever. In the FT-500 open-bonnet configuration, the spring is exposed to the atmosphere to ensure effective cooling. Optional accessories, such as a test gag and governor ring, are available to meet IBR (Industrial Boiler Regulation) requirements where applicable.

We manufacture valve castings and forgings using top-quality materials that meet ASME and ASTM standards. Choose from a wide range of grades, including WCB, WC6, WCC, WC9, CF8, CF8M, CA15, Hastelloy-C, and NACE MR0175, to suit any demanding application.
For high-pressure applications, valves are fitted with Inconel discs and SS347H nozzles. Standard configurations are supplied with SS316 discs and nozzles.

Features
- Supplied with closed bonnet and closed cap for general service applications.
- Designed in accordance with API 526 / 527 standards for all nozzle orifices from D through V.
- Equipped with a single blowdown ring for precise blowdown adjustment.
- Optional packed lever available (Prefix – “P”).
- Easily adaptable to various cap configurations.
- Optional soft seat configuration suitable for liquid-duty services.
- Flanged connections as per ANSI B16.5 and BS-10 / PN standards.
- Standard fitment includes Chrome–Vanadium alloy steel springs for wire diameters ≥ 8.0 mm.
